Unfortunately, stigma can be attached to mental health problems. This means that people feel uncomfortable about them 和 don’t talk about them much. Many people don’t even feel comfortable talking about their feelings. But it’s healthy to know 和 say how you’re feeling. Too often, people feel afraid to admit that they are struggling with their mental health. This fear of prejudice 和 judgement stops people from getting help 和 can destroy families 和 end lives.

Confidentiality

Before you talk to your School Nurse about sex, 药物, alcohol or any other issue, you may be worried that your parents will be told. Your School Nurse follows a professional code of practice which makes sure you have the same right to privacy 和 confidentiality as an adult. This means they must not pass on any information about your visit unless you are at risk of harm; even then your School Nurse must discuss it with you first.

Or you can e-mail sixthformadmin@aggs.光明前景.co.uk for an appointment (和 do not forget to say who you would like this appointment with). 六年级 parents please phone the 六年级 Centre (0161 912 5 911 – Mrs Quigley or Ms Egan) to ask to speak with 加尔文夫人 or to make an appointment to come into the 六年级 to meet with a member of staff.
